Suddenly, the month of September is as dizzying as the month of August!
During the Ormond Beach Unitarian Church Presentation, an organizer for the Volusia County Pagan Pride Day asked me to run a booth with my books; and just today, told me she rearranged their schedule of events so I could give a presentation on the Lucumí faith. I’m not sure of the time slot yet; however, the date is September 28. For more information on Volusia County’s PPD, go to this link: http://www.volusiapaganpride.com/. The schedule of events and workshops is incredible, and I’m looking forward to a day of meeting a lot of new people.
When I posted a MySpace announcement regarding Volusia County’s Pagan Pride Day last night, one of the organizers for the Orlando Pagan Pride Day contacted me. They offered me a one hour slot to make a presentation on the Lucumí faith, and I gladly accepted. The date for the Orlando Pagan Pride Day is September 19th. I don’t have a lot of details regarding the event here in Orlando, but in the next day or so should know everything that I, and you, should know. I’ll post the information on both Pride Days here in my blog.
I’m excited! I get to meet a whole lot of new people, and teach them all about what I love more than anything else in this world: the orishas! Life, my friends, is good!
