Thought of the day.

I'm studying Zora Neale Hurston in college right now -- she's the focus of my ENC 1102 work.

Zora is huge here in Florida. Zora is huge everywhere. People who have never read a book know of her. If only she'd been given this much attention when she was alive!

Which brings me to my thought for the day: Writers are worth more dead than alive, like some outlaws or fugitives. WHY did I choose a field in which I have to die first before I achieve any real significance.

Someone tell me that!
